| We are blessed with many dedicated church musicians at St. Joseph's. As music ministers we recognize the need to share our faith, serve the community, and express the love of God through our music. In order to enhance our liturgies to meet the needs of our English and Spanish families we offer a variety of musical styles.
You may want to join us at our English 5:00 P.M. Saturday mass for a contemporary, upbeat form of worship. The choir is accompanied by guitar and piano. If your best form of worship is through a more traditional style, you will experience God's presence with us at the 8:00 A.M. Sunday mass accompanied by organ. Our 9:30 A.M. Sunday mass is accompanied by piano, guitar, and early recorder instruments and is dedicated to the needs of our families and special celebratory events. Our Spanish masses offer variety in its sung prayer with a 6:30 P.M. Saturday and 11:30 A.M. Sunday mass. The 1:00 P.M. Sunday mass is celebrated with many family and special events. The choirs are accompanied by guitars, keyboards, and a variety of rhythm instruments. In addition to these choirs we have the Festal Choir, which is a choir that prepares weekly for special events such as Confirmation, Midnight Mass, and Holy Week. This choir has an extensive repertoire including Gregorian chant, Latin hymns, Traditional and Contemporary music. For more information about our music ministry, please call the rectory, 847-546-3610 and leave a message for our Music Coordinator, Ms. Kellyann Binkowski. |
